Our drying containers are refurbished insulated containers (available in standard sizes TC 6 and 12 as well as customized in special lengths of
6 to 18 meters), which are equipped with fans, heating, spraying equipment, supply air flaps and exhaust air fans, as well as climate and wood moisture measurement, etc. Only the control, the programs and our many years of experience as a drying system manufacturer turn the container into a high-quality wood dryer, which we tailor precisely to the requirements of our customers.
The wood stacks, which are provided with measuring points, are fed into the dryer on a track. Drying programs for around 50 different types of wood are stored in the Siemens PLC control system. After entering the type of wood, wood thickness and desired final moisture content on the touch panel, drying can be started. Fans mounted to the side of the wood stack push the air through the heating registers and distribute it evenly over the entire length of the chamber. Heating can be carried out with both hot water (hot water heating register) and electric heating coils. Dehumidification is carried out by exchanging air using an exhaust air fan and supply air flaps. An exhaust air-supply air heat exchanger can be used as an option.
Our Air Classic drying containers can be set up outdoors, only the control elements must be housed in a frost-proof location. We offer optional solutions for this.
Tracks and track wagons as well as visualization, heat treatment programs, radio wood moisture measurement, printers and much more are offered as additional equipment.
